Indianapolis, IndianaThe main responsibility of this role is strategizing and positioning Retirement Service capabilities to both our internal and external market. You'll collaborate with sales team, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and be accountable for individual coaching and overall preparation for RS employees, at all levels of the organization, when addressing external clients. This role is also accountable for talent enhancement as it relates to training new RS employees and ensuring our positioning is integrated with both new product roll-outs and marketing initiatives. There is a client-facing component to this position and travel may be requested. Experience working directly with Retirement Plans as well as superior public speaking skills is mandatory for consideration.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (experience or minimum education will be considered). A 4-year degree and 3 years of experience in a related field or a 2-year degree and 5 years of experience in a related field are also considered minimum qualifications for this job. Experience in a related field includes knowledge of the retirement services industry and/or knowledge of systems used, or comparable to those used, by the Retirement Services division.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have a desire to work in a fast paced, high volume team environment with goals of continuous learning and quality improvement. Excellent leadership skills along with the ability to exceed internal and external customer service needs is required. Must have solid organizational and communication skills, be committed to excellence and have the ability to work successfully with many personality styles. Industry designations such as Series 6, RFP1 and RFP2, QKA, etc. are preferred.
