GROUP ACCOUNT MANAGER, SR - 19-0227
CO, USAThis position is responsible for renewal and service for the Regional Group Office(s) new and inforce block of business. This involves ensuring the business retention goals and crossselling goals are met. This person is accountable for the service that is provided to new and existing clients and the enrollment of new cases. The position is responsible for implementing the workflow strategy, policies and procedures as set forth by their leaders.
Perform all necessary renewal and service activities to retain new and in-force group business, as assigned. Works in partnership with Sales to jointly present annual renewal, including gathering claims information and alternate plan design options.
Manages the enrollment/re-enrollment process, including enrollment communication, meetings and presentations.
Responsible for soliciting new business on the existing block of business and refer prospects to other entities across the enterprise.
Prepares pre-renewal face-to-face visits to review claims experience and general correspondence prior to renewal meetings.
Provide ongoing feedback to leadership on existing block of business.
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of related work experience. Must have resident and non-resident license(s) as applicable. Requires advanced knowledge of business unit products, services and systems. Must have excellent customer service, organizational, time management, problem solving, presentation, listening, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic computer skills. Requires the ability to work with little supervision and with strict deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Will spend a minimum of 65% of their time out of the office in face-to-face contact with customers, both internal and external and brokers. Travel required, up to 25% and some travel may require overnight stay.
