PERFORMANCE CONSULTANT - 19-0194
Indianapolis, IndianaResponsible for analyzing performance gaps and their root causes and recommending appropriate performance improvement interventions that align with OneAmerica business goals. Proactively initiates and manages projects that provide business impact and positive ROI. Provides coaching and mentoring to IDs, MDs, and trainers on performance analysis and consulting. Partners with HR, Business Operations, and other members of training team to design solutions that are systemic, customer-focused, and cost-effective. Baselines impact measures and tracks results after implementation of performance interventions. Interfaces with executives and management to influence decision-making and design change management efforts.
Essential Functions:
? Consults and partners with Business Operations management, HR, Training COE, and other appropriate departments to identify strategic opportunities for improving performance
? Conducts performance analysis to identify performance gaps, their root causes and to determine appropriate solutions. Coaches and mentors other members of Training COE on performance analysis and consulting
? Partners with HR, Training COE, and Business Operations to develop and implement cost-effective performance improvement interventions that are systemic, business-driven, and customer and shareholder-value-focused. Contracts with clients on requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
? Promotes a blended delivery method for instruction. (i.e., web-based, self-paced, OJT)
? Measures the impact of performance interventions by base lining pre- and post-metrics. Communicates and markets successes through various means.
? Partners with instructional designers on the analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of performance improvement interventions.
? Educates clients and partners on strategic planning and systems thinking.

? Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Instructional Design, Education or related field. Masters preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in performance consulting, instructional design, and/or technical training in a corporate environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
? High level knowledge of Operations, sales, marketing, Finance, IT, and/or HR required.
? PMP or demonstrated project management experience.
? Knowledge and experience in performance analysis and consulting, knowledge of instructional design, and eLearning required.
