Posting Description:
The Fixed Income group at OneAmerica is seeking an analyst to join the team responsible for managing more than $18 billion in general account fixed income assets. This role will support the management of the $5 billion structured products portfolio.
The candidate's key responsibilities include:
• Developing a deep knowledge and understanding of the ABS, CMBS, RMBS and CLO asset classes.
• Identifying investment opportunities and assessing issuer risk through relative value and fundamental credit analyses.
• Monitoring macroeconomic and sector specific trends to assess the impact on the existing portfolio and formulating recommendations to optimize risk/return.
• Executing trades in the new issue and secondary markets in cooperation with portfolio managers.
• Assisting in the preparation of investment reports for various committees, boards, regulators, rating agencies and other constituents.
Requirements and Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a demonstrated collegiate record of success, preferably with a focus in finance, economics, or mathematics. A bachelor's degree is required as is a willingness to pursue the CFA designation. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to succeed are critical.
