Digital Practice Lead



As part of this transformation, we are looking for a dynamic individual to develop a cohesive strategy that maximizes OneAmerica's values and strengths in a rapidly evolving business environment. Design and deliver a digital strategy that leverages OneAmerica's capabilities. The practice lead will also be responsible for reviewing our current capabilities and working with our business lines to define new capabilities that are focused on our end-to-end business processes.  Define and implement a digital experience that places the customer squarely at the center of the experience. Responsible for developing, testing and implementing a digital strategy to engage target audiences through multiple digital channels of preference and considers consolidation and re-use opportunities. The practice lead uses technical and economic research knowledge to define the best and most efficient digital distribution channels. Analyze, test, measure and recommend digital approaches. 



Responsibilities include:




  • Develop and implement OneAmerica's Digital Strategy with engagement of all key stakeholders

  • Provide critical thought leadership and expertise of digital strategies from understanding, concept, design, customer experience, and implementation of a range of digital platforms

  • Understand emerging digital capabilities and opportunities for OneAmerica's business models by line of business




  • Build and own the Digital Business Plan which is aligned to both the enterprise and business goals and objectives with approval from Executive Council

  • Map digital capabilities to strategic priorities and develop the enterprise digital portfolio

  • Serve as the executive sponsor for digital process innovation and work with the innovation lead to focus on opportunities for proof of concepts

  • Provide analysis and financial implications for existing and planned digital initiatives

  • Ensure OneAmerica's marketplace profile as a leader in the migration toward digital

  • Track and analyze the end-to-end consumer digital experience based on desired future CX




  • Identify vendors/partners that best fit needs

  • Collaborate with OneAmerica business and IT teams in developing a digital marketing plan that fits into broader customer engagement/relationship strategies

  • Assist in identifying, evaluating and creating business case for improvements to data and analytics in support of digital and partner with the VP of Data and Analytics to ensure data and digital projects are in sync

  • Understand third-party partner data to improve insights and consumer engagement

  • Stay abreast of industry and competition – track marketplace developments including regulatory, technology, new products and solutions and partner with the Leaders within IT Strategy and Innovation

  • Be a thought leader in emerging technologies (payments, engagement, mobile) to ensure OneAmerica's digital roadmap stays ahead of competitors

  • Develop key performance indicators and provide monthly reporting on key metrics and business outcomes

  • Be involved in LIMRA, LOMA and other industry groups to understand trends and best practices


Required for this role:




  • Support and champion all digital strategies and solutions

  • Present key strategy plan updates to leadership team

  • Offer solutions/suggestions to improve current procedures and systems

  • Provide supervisor, management, and other departments with requested information and assist with special projects, as requested

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate cross-functionally



Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related business discipline.
