We are seeking a motivated individual who can thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. As the Fund Associate, you will be responsible for helping to support OneAmerica's Retirement Services business. You must be able to effectively multi task and prioritize your workload. You will have responsibility for daily trading operations, reporting functions and balancing of accounts.
Some of the position's key responsibilities include:
• Monitor daily trade operations
• Prepare, reconcile and verify a series of weekly/monthly balancing reports
• Research and resolve accounting and other out of balances
• Responsible for daily uploading/processing of files within recordkeeping system
• Escalate issues to management/designated on call associate
• Maintain documentation and procedures around assigned responsibilities
• Make phone calls to mutual fund companies to establish new accounts, provide large trade notifications, or obtain other information as assigned
Position can be hired in at a level I, II, or Sr. level pending experience.
Minimum qualifications:
• Associates degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field plus 1 year of experience OR 3 years of professional experience
• Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to problem solve and work independently as a self-starter as well as work collaboratively with team members
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail is a must
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field plus 2 year's experience
• Prior experience working with mutual fund companies in any capacity
• Microsoft suite certification
