FIELD VP SERVICE - 19-0209

The Field VP Service is responsible for assisting with complex client servicing relationships throughout the assigned region. Appraise, evaluate and assess the effectiveness of OneAmerica's relationship management team. Anticipate events and trends in the marketplace and offer potential solutions. Assign or delegate tasks to relationship managers in the field as needed. Make recommendations to senior leadership for improvements needed to assist retirement services clients. Participate in the development and interpretation of policies within the immediate manager's organization. Assist in development of organizational objectives, policies and procedures for approval by senior leadership, and report performances regarding established guidelines. Responsible for day-to-day supervision of direct reports.

Mentor, motivate and develop employees. Assess progress on their goals and annual development plan. Ensure that direct reports clearly understand the department's mission and goals, policies and procedures, roles and responsibilities. Help identify department training needs and coordinate department training. Provide follow-up coaching with employees. Promote teamwork and create a work environment that fosters employee commitment and celebrates successes.

Provide project support as determined or recommended by senior leadership and complete projects on schedule.

Complete required reporting timely and accurately. Provide metrics to manager and to direct reports. Provide suggestions, thought leadership on the creation of metrics for future planning.
Minimum Education Level - Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience - 10+ Yrs of similar experience
Travel as needed is required
SERIES 6, 63, and 26; Life Insurance (must obtain within 180 days of hire)
